All advantages at a glance:
Reproducibility through automatic sample preparation
Fully automatic Sample Preparation For spectral analysis with all its advantages, the fully automatic cup and belt sanding machine HB 3000. Working with program-controlled grinding processes achieves a significant improvement in the reproducibility of the Sample Preparation and thus consistent analysis results with reduced time and costs.
Short processing times
The HB 3000 is characterized by fast and precise grinding of specimens made of iron, steel and particularly high-alloy steels of various shapes, the temperature of which can be up to 800° C. A pneumatic clamping unit enables the clamping of symmetrical specimens that are reliably gripped up to a diameter of 60 mm. This achieves a high grinding performance and thus short sample preparation times.
Processing of glowing specimens
For optimal sanding results, the HB 3000 has been equipped with program-controlled intermediate cooling during the grinding processes. With this cooling system, it is possible to process glowing samples.
Flexible grinding parameters
The integration of the abrasive cup and abrasive belt in one machine, in conjunction with the abrasive, grain size and hardness, ensures optimum Sample Preparation for the analytical requirements. For example, the abrasive belt can be used for the exact fine grinding of expensive calibration specimens. In pre-sanding with the sanding cup, on the other hand, maximum service life is achieved.
