All advantages at a glance

Specially designed for moisture determination

The HHCO is a hot air circulation oven that has been specially developed for determining the moisture content of various sample materials. For instance, the HHCO is used to determine the moisture content of iron ore in accordance with ISO 3087. The special blade technology of the furnace door guarantees a constant temperature inside the furnace chamber and thus ensures a reliable drying process.

Minimal heat loss thanks to innovative technology

The HHCO was designed for use in a robot automation system. The sample material is fed into the oven by the robot in a special tray. A gap opens at the designated point inside the oven door so that the robot can then move the tray to its position in the oven rack. Due to the minimal opening, hardly any heat is lost to the outside. Any heat loss is immediately compensated for by the circulation of hot air. With a tray size of 350 x 530 mm, the HHCO has a capacity of 39 trays.

Perfectly tailored components

The HHCO is usually installed in the immediate vicinity of a weighing device. The tray is usually weighed for the first time after four hours. It is placed on the scale while still hot to prevent any possible absorption of moisture from the air. Weighing then takes place at shorter intervals until a constant weight of the sample is achieved. All components for determining the moisture, including the HHCO, scales, robot and the Scada software PrepMaster, are perfectly aligned with each other. This makes it possible to achieve highly accurate values with minimum capacity usage.

Support Brackets – Series C

Anchors produces refractory support brackets. Support brackets are used when the walls of the furnace are high. This enables to spread the weight on the refractory which reduces the risk of deterioration of the wall. They are also often placed around doors or < openings > to reinforce the refractory on
