All advantages at a glance

Efficient and controlled drying

Using the HMWO, particularly controlled and efficient drying of a variety of sample materials is possible up to a quantity of around 2000 g. By continuously measuring the sample weight in the microwave, it is possible not only to determine the water content in the sample, but also to monitor the drying process. As soon as the gradient of the weight loss falls below a specified value, the drying process is complete, and the sample can be removed for further sample preparation.

Optimally adjustable for every material

The microwave energy used for drying can be precisely controlled using various parameters. In addition to the weight loss, the surface temperature of the sample is continuously monitored using an infrared pyrometer and can be used to control the energy emission. The microwave generator is optimally adapted to the sample material by recording the reflected microwave energy. Particularly effective drying can be achieved when the reflected energy reaches a minimum. Adaptation to the specific properties of the material is carried out via the microwave transformation unit, which ensures optimum interaction between the magnetron and the other microwave generation components.

Designed for automatic operation

The HMWO is suitable for integration into a robot automation system. The sample is fed within suitable drying vessels via a downward opening sliding door. All relevant functional parameters are monitored automatically, so that safe operation of the unit is always possible.

Support Brackets – Series C

Anchors produces refractory support brackets. Support brackets are used when the walls of the furnace are high. This enables to spread the weight on the refractory which reduces the risk of deterioration of the wall. They are also often placed around doors or < openings > to reinforce the refractory on
