Efficient cleaning of centrifuge bottles and other containers
The HP-BS is a specially developed beaker washer designed for the thorough cleaning of sample containers, including the external thread. Equipped with an interchangeable cup holder, the machine enables the cleaning of commercially available centrifuge bottles with volumes of 250 ml (without thread cleaning), 500 ml and 1000 ml. The HP-BS automates complex and time-consuming cleaning steps, such as the manual scraping of sample beakers. This leads to a significant improvement in work safety, a reduction in the physical strain on laboratory staff and an optimization of reproducibility during sample preparation and analysis.
Flexible and adaptable for your laboratory needs
The HP-BS was developed in close cooperation with clients and in consideration of typical laboratory processes. This made it possible to integrate lab requirements from different application areas into product development.
The HP-BS offers three individually selectable cleaning steps:
- Cleaning: with a pressure of approx. 12 – 15 bar and flat-spray nozzles as well as optional cleaning agent. The duration can be adjusted from 0 – 100 seconds using a control dial on the front, depending on the degree of pollution.
- Rinsing: using, e.g., deionized water.
- Drying: with compressed air.
The adapter into which the cups are inserted can be flexibly adapted to different diameters and heights. Optionally, the cleaning lance with the nozzles can also be adjusted to the aperture of the cup.
An optional settling tank is also available to prevent blockages in the house pipe.
