All advantages at a glance

High-precision dosing from sample containers

The HP-GCD enables gravimetric dosing of powder samples from cups or vials into crucibles or other containers. The HP-GVD is used, e.g., in the HAG-HF fusion machine, but is also found in numerous other applications. The sample material is agitated in cups or vials by means of vibration and impulse motions. The vibration strength of the HP-GCD is continuously adjusted to the difference to the target weight and the change in weight. This enables both precise and fast achievement of the required weight.

High flexibility for numerous applications

Cup dosing is usually carried out using a special cup. The specific cup shape and the sliding coating ensure precise and reliable dosing of the sample material. The sample material can be filled into the special cup manually or automatically. It is also possible to use the special cup as an insert for a 100 cm standard steel cup. Sample material from an automatic pulverizer such as the HP-MA can then be filled directly into the special cup.

The HP-GCD also makes it possible to gravimetrically dose powder sample material from a plastic vial. The vial can be filled volumetrically, e.g., in the HP-SCD and then stored in the HP-M300 magazine. It is then transported for further sample preparation via a linear conveyor, e.g., to the HAG-HF or to the ICPLab.

Contamination-free dosing

The HP-GCD does not require any special cleaning mechanisms, as the sample material is dispensed directly from the cup or vial. In the case of complete automation, the special cup can be automatically cleaned with compressed air so that it is ready for the next sample.
