All advantages at a glance

Highly accurate and contamination-free dosing of additives

The HP-GSD gravimetric screw dosing system enables highly accurate and precise gravimetric dosing of powders up to a particle size of approx. 1000 µm. This makes the HP-GSD the optimum dosing unit for additives in a variety of different sample preparation processes. The HP-GSD is made of a special, particularly chemical-resistant polymer that does not lead to contamination by elements relevant to the analysis. The high-precision manufacture of the individual components ensures a continuous flow of material. As a result, the targeted material volumes can be reliably achieved.

Intelligent control of the dosing process

The HP-GSD is connected to a precision scale in a control loop. The dosing speed is continuously adapted to the difference to the target weight and the change in weight. This not only ensures a high speed of the dosing process, but also the necessary accuracy and precision in achieving the target weight.

Simple operation

The HP-GSD is integrated into various machines and units. For instance, it can be found in the Powder Dosing Unit of the LiquidLab, but also in the HAG-HF for dosing fluxes. The HP-GSD has a large storage container with a standard volume of 2000 ml. Smaller containers are also available. In the LiquidLab, the Powder Dosing Unit can be pulled out of the frame so that all components are easily accessible. This makes it particularly easy for the operator to refill the storage container. For hygroscopic materials, the storage container can optionally be fitted with a moisture trap.

Design options:

  • Storage containers of different volumes

Support Brackets – Series C

Anchors produces refractory support brackets. Support brackets are used when the walls of the furnace are high. This enables to spread the weight on the refractory which reduces the risk of deterioration of the wall. They are also often placed around doors or < openings > to reinforce the refractory on
