All advantages at a glance:

Designed for large sample volumes

The HP-M 500 is an vibratory mill that has been specially developed for the grinding of large volumes of material. The machine can be equipped with an interchangeable grinding vessel made of chrome steel, which holds either 500 or 1000 cc. The HP-M 500 enables a Automation from strenuous and time-consuming preparation steps such as pouring the ground material into a sample cup and cleaning the grinding vessel. This leads to a significant improvement in occupational safety, reduction of physical strain on laboratory personnel and improvement of reproducibility in Sample Preparation and analysis.

Wide range of applications

The HP-M 500 is suitable for a large number of different materials such as minerals, slags and ferroalloys. The rotation speed of the grinding vessel is infinitely adjustable between 600 and 1500 rpm, which enables optimal adaptation to the specific properties of each sample material. The choice between a 500 cc and 1000 cc grinding vessel provides the operator with the necessary degree of flexibility to implement almost any application. The grinding vessels can be easily replaced and attached to the vibrating unit.

User-friendly application

One focus during development was on the user-friendly operation of the machine. The machine lid has an external and internal handle for easy opening and closing. Raising and lowering the machine lid is almost effortless due to the support provided by gas struts.

The operator can also easily lift the grinding vessel lid thanks to an integrated robust spring mechanism. This makes it very easy for laboratory personnel to fill the sample material into the grinding vessel. After starting the program on the operator panel, the grinding vessel is automatically closed by a pneumatic cylinder.

After grinding is complete, the grinding vessel is automatically emptied via the bottom valve. The ground material is filled into a grinding bowl, which can be removed via a separate dispensing position. In the meantime, the grinding vessel is already being cleaned with compressed air to be available for the next operation.

Improved effectiveness and reproducibility

The HP-M 500 eliminates tedious and time-consuming manual tasks, resulting in a significant increase in laboratory effectiveness and sample throughput. At the same time, the Automation a higher reproducibility of the sample preparation process and a decrease in the analysis bias.

Improvement in occupational safety and maintenance

Due to the automated emptying of the sample material, it is no longer necessary to lift the heavy grinding vessel out of the machine. This is an important prerequisite for reducing potential safety risks and lowering the physical strain on the operator. It also results in low dust pollution in the workplace.

The HP-M 500 is fully enclosed, noise-insulated and has a safety switch on the machine cover. The emergency stop switch leads to an immediate interruption of the power supply to the machine. The machine components to be serviced, including the vibrating unit, are easily accessible, which greatly simplifies maintenance and service work.

Support Brackets – Series C

Anchors produces refractory support brackets. Support brackets are used when the walls of the furnace are high. This enables to spread the weight on the refractory which reduces the risk of deterioration of the wall. They are also often placed around doors or < openings > to reinforce the refractory on
