All advantages at a glance:
Processing of a wide range of sample shapes
The shape of the cylindrical or conical specimens is extremely variable. Round and square specimens, with and without tab, and specimens without stems can be processed. In addition, the processing of other sample forms is possible by arrangement. The only requirement is that the specimen has two parallel side surfaces so that it can be securely clamped in the clamping device. Regardless of their hardness, the HS-CF can be used to process all types of cast steel.
Flexible sample preparation
Depending on the type of sample and the desired analytical method, different sub-steps for the Sample preparation can be selected. The sample can be separated, whereby the sample can be processed with one or two separation cuts. On the one hand, a spectral sample is cut from the cast sample. On the other hand, a slice with a variable thickness of 4-6 mm can be cut. Samples for CNS analysis can later be punched from this disc (e.g. with the HUST). Depending on the quality of the sample, the milling tool is selected, the sample can be milled once or several times, milling of the samples with infinitely selectable feed, feed and speed. if desired, the sample can be cooled after each sub-step.
Designed for manual and automatic operation
Samples can be fed either manually by the operator or automatically by a robot or linear conveyors. Both the cut disc and the milled sample are automatically returned and can be further processed accordingly. For example, the cut sample can be automatically passed on to HUST via a chain belt so that the samples can be punched for CNS analysis.
Optimal milling
Two independently running precision milling spindles can be equipped with milling tools for different material qualities. There is no need to replace tools when changing steel/pig iron materials. Due to the very stable spindle bearing, even the hardest material qualities can be machined safely and permanently.
Optimal separation
The intelligent torque control of the servo motor ensures particularly effective material separation. The robust cutting wheel drive and the use of HERZOG high-performance cutting blades ensure maximum speed with maximum surface quality.
Execution options:
- Input and output belts (e.g. connection to the HUST punching machine)
- Deburring tool for round specimens
- Chip collection device for face cutter head (combustion analysis)
- Pneumatic chip transport, storage in turntable magazine (combustion analysis)
