Product Details

The standard stick cutter in the steel industry – reliable, universal and simple

Application

  • Separation of pins from steel and iron specimens

Materials

  • Specimens with pin (pin diameter max. 8 mm)

Operating mode

  • Manual

All advantages at a glance:

Universally applicable, absolutely reliable, easy to use

The machine is used for shearing feed pins of all conventionally drawn steel specimens such as lollypop, double medallion and oval specimens. The maximum handle diameter is 8 mm. The remaining stem length is < 10 mm. Due to its robust design, the HSA stick cutter can be used not only in the laboratory, but also under the harsh application conditions in operation. The sample is inserted by hand into the opening provided for this purpose. The shearing process is carried out pneumatically by pressing the foot switch. The sheared sample falls into a collection container that can be emptied manually.

Precision and safety

The shearing process is carried out with a constant precision, so that no further reworking on the sample is required. The HSA stick cutter is completely closed. With its high technical quality and small size, the HERZOG HSA stick cutter fully meets the requirements in laboratories and in operation.
