All advantages at a glance:

Optimal sample preparation for combustion analysis

The HUST-AUT is a punching machine for the preparation of stampings for the determination of carbon, nitrogen and sulfur by combustion analysis. Up to four die-cuts weighing approx. 1 g (depending on the sample thickness) can be produced at the same time. The HUST-AUT is specially designed for integration into a fully automated laboratory system.

Connection to various milling machines

The samples for HUST-AUT can come from different sources. On the one hand, plate samples from the HS-F 1000 can be entered into the HUST-AUT by robot. If desired, the tongues in the HS-F 1000 can be milled from both sides beforehand to remove the scale layer.

For the preparation of cylindrical and conical samples, the HS-CF cutting and milling machine can be used. In the HS-CF, a disc sample is produced, which is transported directly to the HUST-AUT via a chain belt.

Automatic transport of stamped parts

In the HUST-AUT, the punched pieces can be transported pneumatically to a turntable magazine. Here, the operator takes the samples, manually processes them for analysis, and enters them into the meter.

Alternatively, the stamped parts can also be transported pneumatically from HUST-AUT to the CNS Lab. The CNS Lab covers the entire process of Sample Preparation from the automatic acceptance of the sample to the transfer of the preheated crucible with the weighed sample and additives to the analyzer.

After stamping in the HUST-AUT, the stamped parts can be transported pneumatically via a switch system to various destination points (magazine or CNS Lab). This allows the samples to be separated fully automatically, e.g. for different analysis methods. In addition, redundancy is established in case an analysis unit should fail.

Various options

Depending on the analytical requirements, the HUST-AUT can be equipped with different options. The HUST-AUT can be equipped with a sandblasting device for removing the scale layer and cleaning the surface. For stamping high-strength steel, the specimen or specimen tongue can be heated by the optional high-frequency induction. A water module is available for cooling.

Security

The machine is soundproofed and specially designed for low-noise operation. Special safety precautions enable the safe operation of the machine.

Execution options:

  • Sandblasting
  • Water cooling
  • High-frequency generator incl. water cooling

Support Brackets – Series C

Anchors produces refractory support brackets. Support brackets are used when the walls of the furnace are high. This enables to spread the weight on the refractory which reduces the risk of deterioration of the wall. They are also often placed around doors or < openings > to reinforce the refractory on
