STA–Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy System
In thermal analysis, it is possible to determine the temperature at which a sample undergoes thermal changes, but not which components are released as vapors. By performing Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) simultaneously, qualitative analysis of gases generated by volatilization or thermal decomposition can be carried out, and the changes in their evolution can be tracked with respect to temperature.
